I’m a watercolor and mixed media artist from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I’ve been a creative since I could hold a crayon. Today, I believe the world could use more sunshine and rainbows… so paint them to share with you!
My art journey truly began during the pandemic when I picked up my daughter’s discarded watercolor supplies. I became obsessed and still am today. So much so, that I took over a whole room in my home to use as my studio.
I draw inspiration from nature, my mom’s garden, and the best each season has to offer in Iowa. My designs are light, playful, and a little whimsical. My favorite things to paint are plants. If a real plant enters my home, it inevitably meets an untimely death. BUT painted plants live on indefinitely!
When I’m not working my full time job, chasing my two teenage girls or hanging out with my hubs and our two dogs, I’m creating all sorts of goodies to share with you.
